It's only the beginning of June, and already I'm cranky about the heat. We left the house at 9:45 and I got sweaty just putting the kids in the car! We went to the park this morning with our SuperAmazing MOPS group, have I mentioned I LOVE MY MOPS GIRLS!!?? B and "The Outlaw" ran around in the woods with sticks, SJ jockeyed for time on the swings, and we later sat down for a snack in the shade.
This is a busy week for us, we've got VBS at church. B would rather go off and do his own thing rather than participate with his class and SJ is spending her time there following me around. The kids are hot and sweaty each night, but they're having a blast and sleeping well.
If you need me this summer, I'll be in the pool...

Texas isn't any better! I am feeling the heat and being thankful for my shady backyard!!! BTW, S is seriously stunning--what beauty.
I'm glad you guys braved the humidity and played with us in the park today. It was so wonderful to be back with my MOPS girls!
You are so lucky to have a pool...although I would never be able to keep Cakes out of it if we had one! How I would love one this summer. Oh, to be weightless and not so dang hot!!! Summer and being pregnant, not a good combo.

What a joy it is to read and see how things are progressing. I remember when you were in such despair about it all for awhile before you decided to go with Ethiopia and before you got SJ. Breaking down and crying at Kinko's was a heart rending tale after the referral and everyone's computer being on the fritz. I can't wait to keep up with you and all of the Milestones that you will reach. As always you and your family bring me joy.
